Notes

I really loved making this bag! The cable pattern was interesting and the knitting didn’t take long at all, considering the size of the project.

I really struggled with how to finish the bag, though. I thought the instructions on finishing weren’t great. Ultimately, I put plastic canvas grid in the bottom of the bag and attached metal feet to the outside bottom through the grid. I then sewed the lining fabric together with super heavy duty interfacing. This formed a fabric box that I then hand sewed to the tote just under the top row of kitting.

I’m not sure if I would have been better off sewing the interfacing to the knitting itself. In any event, the bag looks great and I’m super happy with it!
