Notes

I have been dying to start these!

Zoom! This pattern knits up so quickly! I did the toes in one sitting the first night, then did the next three (almost four) cable repeats the next day and the FLKH. Not bad for also having to chase a toddler and preschooler around and do laundry/dishes/make dinner! Lovely weekend project that could easily be done in a day or two when not chasing after children. I will be making more of these!

I will say that I will go up to a US9 needle the next time I make these. The socks fit great right now, they just pull a teeny bit more than I’d like when they’re on my feet. For house socks, they’re perfect, and I don’t like them too slouchy anyway. If you like your socks a particular gauge, then do a quick swatch.

A little bit past the heel now, definitely going to have to do some increases because this is more than a little tight and won’t go up my calf with the stitch count as it is. Will be doing increases gradually as with the toes on both the front and back of the socks.
