Moved thumb gusset 4sts away from cable pattern as suggested by other knitters. Used invisible M1 from here: http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/mar06_increasing.html

Moving 4 stitches away was too many for my skinny arms, would have been ok following the pattern.

2x2 Circular Tubular Cast-On instructions required a bit more concentration than I could muster this close to bedtime. So I did a 1x1 st st tubular cast-on flat then joined in the round and started the 2x2 ribbing. Unless you’re a knitter staring at it up close you can’t tell at all. This was my first time using tubular cast-on and I LOVE the way it looks, I will definitely be trying variations on other projects.
