as per pattern, using 2 strands cast-on 108

  • 8 rows in blue for rim
  • then change to pink, 15 rows for side + purl row

modification for bottom:

  • divided bottom into 6 sections of 18 sts
  • followed basic concept as per pattern until 6 sts remained
  • cut yarn
  • pull yarn thru loops
  • pull yarn tight and tie off
