My mother-in-law asked me to make this for her to give this to her grandson/my nephew.

I finished the first half, and it’s too small. Hmm. Considering the deadline on this, I don’t want to have to modify the pattern. It probably wouldn’t be difficult, but it would take trial and error to get the proportions right. Doubling the yarn would make it way too thick, but maybe I can find a red sport weight yarn to carry with it?

I started with Red Heart Super Saver, and I ended up with Lion Brand Homespun. Now it’s gigantic. But what does his grandmother care? That just means she can fit more candy in it!

There are a few simple errors in the pattern, but they were really easy to figure out. I still really enjoyed the pattern.
