This hat is so cute! It’s modeled after the Koolhaas, which I’ve wanted to knit for a long time, but I can’t justify to myself paying for a pattern for a hat I’ll never wear. (That type of hat looks stupid on me.) But I was looking for a crochet pattern because I’ve mostly been knitting lately, and this uses stash yarn, so it’s great!

I’m actually triple-stranding this yarn to make it the proper weight. It’s not plied anyway, so it doesn’t make any difference to hold a few strands together, and it’s going to be splitty no matter what.

This stitch pattern is really fun! I’m loving the “clusters.”
