I started with this gorgeous Patons Kroy, but about the time I got to the heel, my brain kicked in and reminded me I only had 50 grams, which wasn’t going to be close to enough. I think I’ll enjoy this yarn, though. It’s the first hand painted yarn I’ve bought.

I finished the first sock! It turned out well. One more to go!

I love this pattern! Love it, love it, love it. I made these just a tiny bit short for my foot, but that’s okay. I like snug socks. The cuff isn’t too high, so I don’t think they’ll fall down as badly as some of my others. Sorry some of the photos aren’t great. I’m not having good camera luck right now.

I found these notes I’d taken on these today, and I thought I’d record them here. I knit 50 rounds for each leg, and I knit 26 rows for each heel flap. I picked up 14 stitches for the gussets.
