I finished the knitting today. It’s a quick knit! You could definitely do it in a day, if you had the time. I’ll probably block it tomorrow.

Well…it’s blocked…but it looks ridiculous. It’s enormous. I used the same size plate to block this as I did my last hat, and it really didn’t even stretch this hat. I thought I might need a bigger one. But I guess because this one was bulkier, it came out a lot bigger. I’d frog it and use a smaller needle, but it was awfully tight already. A smaller needle would be murder. I guess I’ll wash it and not block it and see if that helps.

It came out a lot better when I just draped it over a small plate and let the rest of it hang down. It looks great now!

I just wanted to add that I love this hat! It’s one of the few hats that I actually wear that will cover my ears. It’s so warm, and it’s really versatile.
