Notes

This pattern is magic! A fun way to use up leftover scraps of gorgeous yarn. Knit a plain stocking stitch square, then stitch it up following the simple instructions provided in this (free) pattern and you will have a little rabbit. Knit a pair of ears, and make a tail to complete your creation. This adorable bunny (Blueberry) was made using Belles Bouclettes boucle yarn. He is soft to the touch and wonderfully cuddly. The square he was created from measured five and a half inches. He sits three and a half inches high, not counting his ears which add close to an inch to his height. Belles Bouclettes’ sports weight brushed mohair was used to make his ears, and a small ball of it was needle felted on to make his tail. These rabbits are great to have, to give, and addictive to make!

Note about the yarn: it is available from Belles Bouclettes, which is located on a small farm in eastern Ontario Canada. The mohair comes from their happy herd of angora goats. The yarns are spun in Canadian
mills,. Their lines of dyed and undyed mohair and llama yarns are fantastic! (For anyone who wants to
take their love of fibre into the bath, they also have some fabulous felted goat’s milk soap (along with some other body care produtcs), definitely worth
checking out!) If you are interested you can visit them at:
