Such a fun knit! From cast-on to finished blocking was about a week. I got to learn/re-learn a few techniques: crochet provisional cast-on, three needle bind-off. My bind-off produced a noticeable seam -- I bet if I did knits and purls with the bind-off, depending on which stitch I was working (I did all mine as knit), it would have helped the seam disappear. I’m not unhappy with the seam -- it will be swallowed up by my hair and the folding of the cowl when it’s worn. The edges have a definite tendency to curl. I hoped blocking would take care of that. For a large part, it did -- before blocking, the cowl curled into a tube; after blocking, the edges have a slight curl. The curl doesn’t obscure the design at all and I’m not concerned about it.
