Toes finished.
I chose to do the bigger size (68sts) and now it feels quite big…

Maybe I continue to the foot and try out the pattern still a bit before deciding if frog and do 60sts.

Pulla is cooking in the oven and the room smells like yeast. Yum.

Double triple quadruple checked the size… Maybe I keep going with the 68sts.

Size feels similar to 60sts with 360m/100g yarn on 2mm needles and plain stockinette stitch.

Half way through the foot. It is fitting nicely.

This must be my first time doing a gusset heel turn toe up? With toe up usually I have been doing short row heels.

Anyway, had to tweak the pattern. Many many more repeats before the gusset, then I chose the gusset to the smaller size (57sts final on sole side instead of 65sts).

Then I made 4 rounds without increasing to have good length on the foot, hopefully.

Going to do heel turn tomorrow.

Couldn’t sleep first night in Shanghai. Hotel is much worse than expected and I couldn’t cancel. Knitting and watching Desperate Housewives to calm my nerves. Finished first sock.
