Got started by winding the yarn by hand. I’m planning to knit this paid one at a time, so not dividing the yarn into two even balls.
More concerned about if there are knots in the yarn ball of Fade Blossom, and how is the gradient of the yarn. - No knot found.
I aim to do two identical socks. Maybe leg darker and foot lighter. Maybe.

Got started last night (this morning 3am) cuz I couldn’t sleep. Did cuff last night.
Sorted the yarn a bit again today and started with the pattern. So far so good.

Heel done on 25sts (took one white STS from the other needle). Normal strengthened heel.
Heel turn left 8sts on each side. Ended heel turn with 15sts.

Picked up each edge with 14sts one white one blue.
Also started the sole with the stripes.
20 blue stripes in total.
40sts in sole, planning to reduct to 24 = 16 reduce rows.
I think I picked up too many stitches.Maybe I reduce every round to see what happens.

Very productive day of knitting. I’m finishing the first sock.
This color of Bossom Fade is perfect. One repetition of color fade is perfectly in line of my sock pattern gradient design. Not even one meter extra. I already planned to patch a couple of rounds by taking a separate section of yarn, and that was not needed.
Blue yarn was dominant (white kept close to the back side of work).
Coming to the toe, I realize that it’s not a symmetrical design. Sole is 25sts and instep is 35sts.
I will do reduce on every round on instep, until instep has same sts count as sole, then reduce both every round.

Finished!
It turned out that I was also quite bored at home with mom. There’s seriously nothing to do but knitting
I’m really happy about how the gradient yarn turned out, and that they looks almost identical. Maybe I’ll try more of this Blossom Fade yarn.
