Because my current wips are very time consuming and can become a bit of a challenge, I fancied something a little easier as a side project that would become useful in the colder months. Plus since I frogged my jumper, I have plenty of brushed alpaca silk balls.
30.05.20 turns out, my hands might be small in length, but they are chunky….had to start over again. Used my dpn as thought I could use a change as I dont often use them anymore…somehow managed to loose 2 stitches, then gained 4 extra….so ripped back again. Back to magic loop and doing the XL soze instead….so far so good. Should of finished by now, but bad concentration has resulted in being back to square one!
The thumb!!!! I cast off and was too tight. even when i consciously tried to make it a loose bind off, so ripped back and made a looser cast off which was ridiculously too baggy, so I must of gone wrong on my first attempt with too few picked up stitches (even though I am adamant I counted twice!) third time round, is just right.
These wrist warmers are going to be a real touch of luxury on an Autumnal walk with my new family member Vizla Lurcher Cross, Eddie.
So I have finished. The second mitten went a LOT smoother than the first and I am super chuffed with these little light soft warm luxury feeling wrist warmers. Such a quick knit (if you manage to minimise your mistakes) really easy pattern to follow and in love with the finished item.

Just noticed that the pattern was supposed to be continuous…mine never linked up. Oh well, it is what it is! Still love them, just baffled I never noticed.
