A fantastic design, very detailed pattern with a graph to follow for colorwork.

Ive decided to change the graph stitches from sc to waistcoat stitches. Also, instead of turning at the end of each row while doing the knit sts, I’m fastening off and starting a new row.
By doing this, it allows me to keep the graph as symmetrical as possible! It’s totally worth weaving in those extra ends for a beautiful butterfly! Haha

I made my front and back panels to be 18” wide and 15” long. I have a 34-35” bust so this sits with about 2” of positive ease

The butterfly sits 2” below neckline.

My sleeves measured 18.5” long (added 2” to make up the missing width from the panels, plus an extra inch to compensate my long arms.)

Final fit: a cropped boxy sweater with a pretty butterfly

If I were to make this again, I would elongate the body and make it more fitted, rather than a cropped boxy fit.and if move the butterfly down an inch. I’d also make it the same colors as the original design!
