I LOVE MY SQUISHY YARN CHOICES and this is quite a fun knit once you get past the mayhem and confusion of the beginning…

SEVERE CRITIQUE WARNING:
Although this sweater looks amazing (and WILL BE, dammit!) and the dipstitch is a very fun stitch….BEWARE.

Sooooo many knitters have complained on here (and elsewhere) about the necessary beginning instructions that do not exist. Everyone seems to just need to “wing it”, as do I, when it comes to figuring out when, where and how to add increases. This is an obnoxious situation. IMHO it needed to be fixed a long time ago -- especially for a $9 purchase price!

I am not a beginner knitter and I am far from advanced but if I can pull this off, I will consider myself a Magical Knitter LOL!

I will post what I come up with, when I figure out a sequence for adding the increases for myself.

UPDATE
SO…..what I came up with when there are 3 new stitches in a row on both sides of BOR, I either begin a new dipstitch (at row 2 of dipstitch round) or a new P,K,P (at row 4 of the dipstitch round) for whichever one would come next in pattern sequence.

For a new dipstitch: I make a new dipstitch row 1, transfer entire thing back to the left needle and immediately knit it as row 2 in keeping with the current dipstitch row that is being worked across the round.

Also, I am tall and pear-shaped and wanted it longer with more roominess at hips. I knit underarm length of 16” (including bottom ribbing). I increased 2 knit sts at each side under arms, every 12 rows, which gave me an additional 4” per side of hip ease and a side panel of interest. I’m very happy with the final outcome--YAY!
