March 13: Have done this top twice before each time in Euroflax Sport weight. This rather drab pewter colour will go with a few of my difficult to match wardrobe items. Works with olive green capris, circle print skirt and maybe even with chrysanthemum black/beige skirt. Third time with same yarn. Should be a cinch. (famous last words…)
March 18: Almost finished the first quarter. Two more repeats I think. Will compare with Cantaloupe top.
April 5: Second quarter of first half is done.

April 10: Four repeats of final quarter done.
April 15: On 6th of 10 repeats of final quarter. Should get a lot done today on flight from SRQ HOME to YYZ.
April 17: Finished knitting yesterday. Blocking today. Side seams tomorrow and voila.
April 18: All done. Looks good and works very well with skirt I knit it for.

Size notes, based on my tension of 22 sts for 4 inches using Euroflax and 3m needle: I cast on 103 stitches, which makes the LENGTH of the garment. My finished blocked length is 17 3/4”. I worked 9 lace repeats for each half of front and back before reducing stitches for sleeves. The circumference of my top is 48”. I worked only 3 lace repeats for the sleeves.
