The fit and shaping of this top is spot on. All of Janine’s patterns are so modern and classy. This top works up in a matter of days and is super comfortable to wear.

Don’t worry about fitting into a cookie cutter size to wear this design as it is 100% made to measure and personal preference. Just make sure to stretch the cups to the fit that you’d prefer. This may require negative ease (more stretch). That will help to avoid bunching in the finished garment.

The cotton single crochet construction manages to hold you in and provide shaping while not being too hot. The pattern recommends Lionbrand 24/7 cotton which is a mercerized cotton, but using this Pima cotton made it super soft.
