9 May--It’s completely done! And I added the pattern to the Ravelry database. The pattern is on my blog here: http://koshka-the-cat.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-ladys-assi...

I plan on fully sharing this pattern--rewriting it, making a chart, giving notes. It’s easy to follow as is, but I think it’ll be a fun project to neaten it up a bit. I may have an odd idea of fun!

29 April--I started this on the 25th, and casting on 8 stitches to be split over four needles might just be the most awkward knitting I’ve ever done! I cast on to one needle and then knit two onto the others.

I’m loving the beading. It’s quite easy, just start the stitch, scoot the bead up, pop it through, make sure you catch it and you have a bead!

I thought the 1600 beads would be enough, but as of now I need 520 more beads for the little stars and I have about 300 more. I just ordered more. I’m pretty sure I have enough cord. I’m going to wait until I run out of beads to add more. I hate weaving in ends--especially if it means breaking up something so neatly knit in the round--and I’d rather (very carefully) unwrap the cord from the spool, put the beads on the tail end, and go from there instead of cutting the thread to add new beads. We’ll see how that goes!
