I’m doing parts 1-2-2-1 and Twister is working out great for the color parts. I’m letting it flow but even when the color changes are mid-row they are not obvious at all.

Looks like I will have a bit of the last color left when I reach the halfway point, then I’ll attach the second cake from outside and mirror the pattern. I just have to remove the same amount of yarn that is left of the first cake from the second before I start!

According to the inspirational Bokkyshome’s project, she skipped rows 14 & 15 when mirroring the second part so I’ll do the same. This will leave out a white line going through the middle of the project.

I had to keep track of the color changes in my second cake as they didn’t line up exactly on their own. In the end it looks perfect, all I had to do is snip a bit out here and there to keep the changes right. :)

I’m so happy with this one!
