Mods: will try to turn this into a wrap by making a long parallelogram instead of the diamond/kite shape.

At 26th row I washed and blocked the piece. It measures 35cm from one top-point to the opposite side. I want my parallelogram to have a height of appr. 50cm, so I will continue increasing until row 38. Then I will measure the amount of yarn used. After row 38 I will increase on one side and decrease on the other side.

I used 2 skeins on the body of the shawl and used 76g of the last skein for the border.

I added a final round of slip-stitch surface chrochet to the border. This was because my border trebles were looser than the body edge and I didn’t want a ruffle.

dimensions before blocking: 54cm wide by 190cm long (long side measured along one parallel edge).

After blocking: 64cm wide by 195cm long measured the same way.
External dimensions: 64cm x 220cm.
