I used a circular needle for the body, rather than DPNs. 144 sets on 5 DPNs was torturous. They kept slipping off. Once I started using the circular needle, it was a lot smoother! I changed back to DPNs for the neck/head & tail, and used the circular as my stitch holder.

If I make this again I’ll use a bigger yarn & needles. The tiny needles and tight gauge that I got wit this yarn strained my hands more than I’m used to.

I loved making it! I wish there was more contrast in my color choices.
