Fun project. The designer was very accommodating and allowed me to make some modifications for preference.

I wanted a tighter neck than the pattern called for so cast on 100 sts. (the pattern is knit top down), made the ribbing, and then modified the increases until I was up to stitch count for my size about 4 inches into the stockinette, then just followed the pattern.

I made a hybrid size, 38”, which is between the xs and s. After I blocked it, the sweater grew. The sleeves are fine longer but I will take out 2” of the body length before sweater weather arrives.

I loved the patterns invisible lifted increases and will use them again. They are easy to do and look great.

The colorwork charts have two chart options: light MC and dark CC, and dark MC and light CC. I love that and wish more designers would do that. So helpful!.

The pattern calls for two stranded colors but I chose to use only one, and I knit all the colorwork stitches (the pattern calls for both knits and purls). The texture that the purls create in the colorwork look great when using two colors, but I preferred the crisper look of using only knits in my single color.

All in all, a well written pattern with nifty details for fit and finishing.
