This lovely thing used up almost every last bit of my leftovers of rustic fingering weights. I was going to donate the lot but then I thought of this project. I kept it in the family room and knit on it when I didn’t have another project at hand. I used 11 different yarns that I have listed, but I’d guess there was more as some little bits weren’t labeled. I doubled the yarn and the size is 55x55”.

I started it in January and it was almost 3/4 finished when in late May we went on a driving trip to Southern California. I brought it and only it and knit on it feverishly and finished it on the way back about a mile from home! I was a gal on a mission! I’m adding this to my pile of blankets that we keep scattered around the house. They come in super handy at this time of year as we entertain outdoors all spring, summer and fall, and since it gets cold at night, even in summer, guests are appreciative when I hand out the blankets. This pattern is the best!
