Love Note is perfect for a summer cotton sweater.

As per my last Love Note, I used yarn with a gauge of 20 st per 4” rather than 16. Besides a gauge change, I also cast on less stitches at the sleeve separation. I knit the 38” size and got a 35” bust. Perfect!

On a design note, I think it’s best to have the lace section land high on the yoke, at least an inch or two above the apex of the bust. It seems to be most flattering for all but it’s just my personal preference.

I left my hem, cuffs and neck as a rolled stockinette edge. I love that look for summer.

I tried my best to photograph the color without making my skin a bright pink. It’s a lovely orchid color in real life. I LOVE this yarn to bits and it is my favorite cotton yarn EVER. I might need to make this again in white. It’s a quickie for sure.
