Notes

LOVE this in every way. The yoke pattern is really pretty and just the way I like a yoke pattern to be: simple and unfussy, plus the design stops before the apex of the bust which I think is more flattering. The yarn was perfect for this sweater, making this a super fun knit and lovely sweater to wear. I’ve got some white Rowan Creative Linen earmarked for a summer Phoenix. Don’t know the contrasting color yet. Maybe charcoal?

Even though this was a test, I did make some designer approved modifications:

Knit with smaller gauge to get a sweater with less ease and less bulk. I am 5’ 1” and I know what I can and can’t get away with!

Did not add any underarm stitches after the sleeve separation.

Knit longer sleeves with a stockinette rolled hem.

Added a wee bit of body length.

I’d give both the yarn and pattern 10 stars if I could.
