The pattern is 8 years old and for 8 years I’ve wanted to make this. Finally! Planning on this being a travel project--when we can start traveling again.

And so it’s finished and unfortunately it was not a travel project, but a stay-at-home-because-of-the-pandemic knit. But I loved knitting it and I know I’ll wear it often. The colors seems to go with many things I own.

I tried Loft for the first time earlier this year while working on a secret test knit for Brooklyn Tweed. The pullover is a lovely one and I hope the designer does publish it but we testers have not heard from her for several months. All testers are finished but have not been able to give our final thoughts on the pattern because the designer is MIA. Very odd. But, there is a silver lining--besides the sweater being lovely, I found out that I loved Loft and with they discount the designer offered, I ordered yarn to make this beautiful shawl. Like I said, I’ve had my eye on it for 8 years. Loft is so and gorgeous, and is soft enough for me to wear next to the skin.
