I made 104 to string across my entire patio!

I’m using leftovers from projects--dk and worsted weights as is, and fingering weights doubled. It takes about 1/2 hour and 23 yards dk to make one.

Edited to note that even with my big stash I still had to purchase a few inexpensive yarns just for color pop.

I really enjoyed knitting them. I’m planning a few parties this summer and think it will look so festive. Unfortunately our California sun is so bright they will fade if left up all summer. I’ve made them really easy to put up and I hope I still think so when I have a party and I’m stringing them up.
