I love this so much that when I finished I immediately cast on for another in sapphire blue. Am I crazy?

I don’t think the pictures give this sweater it’s fair due. It’s very cute.

I used Rowan Aura, love this yarn and think it’s so sad that it has been discontinued. I love Aura for this sweater, it’s very cozy and warm.

My modifications were:

Long sleeves: regularly spaced decreases to 40 st. for the k1p1 rib.

I used a three stitch i-cord bind off on the neck and front edging. It went pretty fast and gave a more refined edge and seems to mimic the little pleat. A good tutorial for that is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqMwolIZsAM

When making the pleat, pick up stitches from back (purl) side. The pleat is adorable, by the way.
