Obviously I like this pattern, as this is my third and may not be my last, as I’m thinking of a white cotton one for summer. Really? It’s not like I don’t know and love other patterns, but somehow I am drawn to this particular one again and again.

This is for my granddaughter for Easter, sized down to fit her little self. I just read that the Coastal Knit girls are sizing down the patterns in that book for children, great idea. I don’t know if this one will be included in that, but I’ve kept fairly good notes for anyone interested in an xxs. Just ask.

Mods: sized down to xxs; long sleeves; i-cord bind off for the front edges; for peplum, increased f/b every other stitch instead of every stitch; made a simple crochet loop for button

So far I like this yarn. It’s very soft, time will tell how it wears.

I do quite a bit of editing to make my knits look presentable. Often there is a pile of laundry or stack of dishes nearby, maybe an upset trash can or some weeds, but hey, we can edit all that ugly stuff out, right? These puppers were intent on getting in the action and racing around our feet. Finally we let them have their way!
