Notes

I decided to do the testknit with only one repeat of the 18 stitch repeats (49 stitches cast on) to make it go faster, after casting on my other one with 5 repeats.

Chart A
You will need to move any repeat markers on rows 5, 17, 21, 33, and 37.

If you are using Romi’s markers from the written, every time you do a 2 or 5 stitch bind off for this and all other charts, you should be left with 2 stitches in the garter stitch edge.

Chart B-1
This chart is only used after you pick up the provisional CO to realign the edge lace mostly.
So that I have 2 less ends to bury at the end, I usually join the yarn for the second end as if I’m adding a new ball of yarn. In this case I used a Russian Join.

Chart B
A stockinette field with the fancy edge.

When working this chart after you finish Chart A, you can leave in any repeat markers. You won’t need them in this chart, but they will be in place for Charts C and D.

I knit this chart only once per end partially because the smaller size I knit proportional doesn’t need 2.

Charts C and D
These are straight forward lace. No marker shifts or fancy decreases.

I did one Chart A picked up for Chart B-1, B, C, and D. Then went back and knit another Chart A, B, C, and D.

Yarn Usage
Start - 42.5 grams
after Chart A through row 38 first time - 37.0 grams
after Chart B-1 - 35.9 grams
after Chart B - 33.5 grams
after Chart C - 28.0 grams
after Chart D - 26.0 grams
after Chart A row 38 second time - 19.5 grams
after last 4 rows of Chart A - 18.7 grams
after Chart B - 16.9 grams
after Chart C - 12.2 grams
after Chart D - 10.1 grams

My finished mini is approximately 9 inches wide and 36 inches long. This is long enough to go around my neck and cross such that I can use a Romi shawl pin to secure it. I also thought it might work really well as a dresser scarf or table runner.
