I made a few changes to the pattern in order to make it wider and thus warmer/cozier. Instead of casting on 37 st I cast on 57 then needed to increase 9 st evenly (in the increase row) to make it 66 st wide for the body of the scarf. Sixty-six will be your favorite number while knitting the body of the scarf so you can keep count on the st and make sure you didn’t increase or decrease during knitting (which I found easy to do with this pattern). Of course then when the body is completed (I made it about almost 6 feet, or 300 grams/651 yds), decrease 9 st evenly in the decrease row.
