For a request I am designing and making a large Barbapappa- and Barbamammadoll. I write down the pattern as I work, so hopefully when they are finished, I will have the pattern available as well.
These guys are gonna need a lOT of yarn and a LOT of stuffing !!

Started on Barbamamma today (because I needed a large project for a long cartrip and non-smoking visit), but it seems the black yarn I have in stock is a bit thinner than the pink was, so the tension / gauge is a little off. Mamma might be a bit slimmer then I wanted her to be, so I guess I have to alter the pattern I invented just a little to get the right size.

Almost finished. Mamma just needs a pair of arms, and I need to fumble a bit with the eyelashes and eyelids. Sine the dolls are approximately of equal size (mamma turned out a bun higher than Barbapappa), they look a little out of proportion, but hey, they are ment to be separate dolls, not a set.

Finished !! That went very well, I must say. Now all I need to do is work out the patterns to put them up here. And, ofcourse, make another show-model.
