LOVE this pattern! Using 5 colors instead of 6. Couldn’t decide on the 5th color at first. (Last pic). Went with the antique gold. Happy with my choice. :) May 6- All complete except for handles which I ordered and am waiting for. I changed up the last few rows a bit.
June 3- finally put the handles on and weaving in ends.
I marked where I wanted the handles placed and attached two strands of yarn to the bag.
Row 1:(right side of bag facing you) sc in same stitch as join, sc in next two stitches, ch 1, turn (3 sc)
Row 2: sc in each stitch across, ch 1, turn (3 sc)
Row 3: sc in each stitch across, ch 1, turn
The wrong side (inside of bag) will be facing you. Remove hook from chain, pull tab through ring of handle, replace hook in chain and sc the bottom of tab to the top of tab making sure to keep the ring inside. (3 sc) fasten off and weave in ends
Repeat from for remaining 3 handle rings.
