NOTE: Make sure you are placing the stitches correctly! Pay attention to where the front and back loops are of the stitches in the previous round. Be prepared to take some time on this hat. Not a mindless pattern.

This pattern is lovely stitch combination with great texture. It is well written and very detailed. Helpful photos included. I like that each size is a different page, so I only needed to print page one and the page for the size I was making.

I made the Big Kids size. I am a loose crocheter and usually have to go down a hook size or make a smaller size than I need. With this pattern I had to add an extra repeat of rows 2-7 to get the correct width, so I would recommend crocheting loosely.
