Working with 4.5mm circulars (Except cast on round-5mm circulars) as my husband’s head isn’t that large. I will need to purchase DPNs of the same size when I get to the decrease section.

Didn’t need the DPNs after all. I was able to complete 6 of the 10 rounds of the decrease section on circulars. I tried the hat on my hubby at that point and it was the length he wanted it, so I stopped there and cinched up the top.

I made 2 hats, but I had 140 grams of yarn leftover, so I could get 3 hats out of 1 skein! NOTE: I used smaller needles than the suggested size and left off the last 4 decrease rounds.
