I just came across a similar pattern (free) in a written version. I linked it above. (Chevron Lace Shrug by Glamour 4 You). I skimmed through the pattern which I think is the same stitch repeat, except the open work rows are treble crochets. I made mine double crochets.

I modified the chart to have 9 sets of peaks and valleys. With a J hook, chain 146 (multiples of 16 + 2), for a width of 42”. Using 5 colors, 3 rows of each color, repeat 5 times (75 total rows) for a length of 60”. I wanted the afghan to be a little more solid than lacy, so instead of open work every other row, open work only in the middle row of each color. (So each color is worked one row solid, one row open, one row solid). Work solid rows on the “right side’ and open work rows on the “wrong side”.

June 19- 20% finished
June 20- 40% finished
June 22- 60% finished
June 24-80% finished
July 1-100% finished (Do need to block at some point, though).
