Notes

The pattern is super easy and well written.

I seamed the sides as per instructions with slip stitch. For the middle of back, I used mattress stitch as I didn’t want a thick seam down the center of the back.

My gauge was a little larger than the given gauge, but I wanted the kimono to be more of a swimsuit cover-up, so longer worked better anyway.

For the width, I eliminated one row of solid double crochet at the beginning and end of each panel. (before starting sleeves)

Instead of fringe, I used a novelty yarn to add a cute border. Single crochet around the sleeve edges and down the fronts. For the bobbles at the bottom I attached the yarn at one corner then chain 3, (Working into the 3rd chain) Yo pull up a loop 3 times Yo pull through all loops, chain 2, skip one dc row, slip stitch in next dc row repeat across to end.
