The pattern was overpriced in my opinion. No gauges or measurements are given. Because the sweater is so fitting, you really need to check fit as you go. The smallest size is S (UK. 6-8). The recommended yarn weight is Sport (2). I find the choices in the US for sport weight is very limited and I really wanted to use yarn from my stash for the project. I used dk and light worsted yarn, so I had to make adjustments to account for the thicker yarn and also to make an XS.

My granddaughter has not done a final fitting yet, but requested that the sleeves be long enough to cover her hands. I had her try on the sweater before I added the sleeves and the bodice fit well. I won’t weave in the ends of the last couple sections on the sleeves in case they need to be shortened.
