I believe the yardage is off on this pattern. I think I am going to need at least 1600 yards for measurements of the size M.

With the 3.5mm hook, I met the gauge for height, but not width. I liked the drape with this size hook, so instead of going down on the hook size, I decided to make the XS instead of my normal size M, to accommodate my larger gauge.

The front and back panels measure 20” wide.(20” is about right for the size Medium following the given gauge.) I don’t know the length yet, as I saved the ribbing for last. I thought I might run out of yarn and need to make the ribbing with a contrasting color. When I realized I wouldn’t have enough yarn to even complete the sleeves, I ordered 2 more skeins of yarn to be safe and make sure I had enough for the ribbing. I have 5 skeins of fingering weight yarn 438 yards each. Hoping I will only need 4.

I am adding 6 rows to my sleeves. I have long arms and I like my sleeves to go past my wrists. I repeated row 37 six times before going on to row 38.

I have seamed everything and tried on the sweater before adding ribbing. The sweater fits me a little more fitted than the pattern photos. I probably should have added 6 rows to length of of the sweater as well as the sleeves, but it will still be long enough just not as long the photos of the pattern. I’m 5’9” and 140 lbs. for reference.
