Part 1-Complete

Part 2- Continuing with pattern.

Modifications:

2HDC in the first and last stitch of each row to make edge straight. (This tip from Jennifer Marie Essex Johnson in the Outlander Pattern Central Facebook Group.)

Each row has 6 HDC more than the previous row. (4 are the HDCs in the CH2 space and 2 are the extra HDCs in the first and last stitch.)

1st Photo is the last pic I took before I changed to color B. (part 3). Forgot to take one right before color change.

Part 3- Changed to color B

Modifications: 2 rows of TR instead of 4 rows HDC as my shawl was looking long and narrow and wanted to add more width per row.

At this point I realized I did not like how color C looked with the my color A yarn, so I just changed back to color A after color B.

Modifications: Finished with 2 rows DC, 1 row TR, and 1 row DC. Ready for part 4!
