Attempting to modify to fit a Blythe doll. Starting with mods form @fiber figments on Instagram

Not sure if she followed Child or adult size instructions, so I’m using adult. In any case if it doesn’t work out I can still use as decor and I will have a better idea where to modify from here.

I made the adult size and it fits my Blythe doll head perfectly. I sized down to 1.75mm hook for brim but next time I will stick with the 2.0mm. The brim wasn’t wide enough to accommodate the final round of ruffles so I eliminated that round rather than frog the brim and start over.

I made spots with a 2mm hook and fingering weight yarn in 3 sizes as follows:
Small, 8sc in MC
Medium, 8 sc in MC; 2sc in each st (16)
Large, 8sc in MC; 2sc in each stitch; sc, 2sc around (24)

I made 3 Large, 6 Medium and 10 Small spots. I arranged them and pinned on hat and then sewed them on.

Next I will attempt making mushrooms. I tried to make the ones in pattern with a 1.5mm hook and lace yarn but I it was just too hard for me to see. I will try making some with a 2mm hook and fingering weight yarn.

I decided not to add mushrooms as the colors were more of a Halloween theme. I just need to get photos of the hat on a doll with the Halloween dress I purchased.
