I decided it was wide enough at 300 yards. Boredom may have had something to do with this.

There is a WAY easier to handle the bind-off. In between bind-off sections, purl onto a dpn. Do the next bind-off, then drop purled sections off the dpn. No more fiddly measuring and hoping you’ve got a section long enough.
