Starting with the blue, I CO 8 and worked the 8 stitch increase per 2 rounds method to 5 stitches per section. Then I worked the oval 6 stitch increase every other round method to 128 stitches.
Knit 14 rounds before I ran out of blue
Knit with white to round 60 (almost out of white)
Knit to round 85 with red.

On rounds 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 I k2tog at the start and middle stitches.
I placed markers at 1/4 and 3/4 stitches, then knit to 2 stitches before the 1/2 mark. SSK.
Turned and purled to 2 stitches before the 3/4 marker. P2tog.
Turned and knit back to 2 stitches before the 1/4 marker. SSK.
Purled to middle marker, p2tog, purl to 2 stitches before 3/4 marker. P2tog.

Repeat these 4 rows till I had 9 stitches left. (40 rows)
Repeated on the other side.

Placed the 1st 3 stitches on some dpn’s and worked a 3 stitch I-cord for 60 rows. Cut yarn about 9”
Worked the next 3 stitches the same way.
Worked the last 3 stitches the same way.
Braided the I-cords and then grafted the “9” stitches of the 3 I-cords to the 9 stitches left from the side without the I-cords.

Worked the “extras” on the bag. Then felted with much prayer it would work!
