Notes

Fishes should end up about:
4 1/2” long, and 3 1/2” wide at tail

Check out the group’s progress!

I tried knitting on size 2, and not only did it hurt my fingers, my fishie was waaayyy too small. Trying again with size 3!!

I had to go up to a size 4. After knitting and frogging my second fishie, it was still too small. Oy. Now I have to use these slippery metal needles.

Finally, success! My fish are still a little short, but they are the right length, so I’m not fighting it. Two down, and my ball is still pretty big so I may be able to eak another three fish out of it.

This was awesome. I was able to get a whole SEVEN fish out of this little ball of yarn, and I used up every little bit of yarn as well. No excess! I am so thrilled I almost can’t stand it.

Longest project ever. I swear. But only because I promised five months ago that I would make these, but just couldn’t get up the interest or energy. So it only seemed like an eternity, hibernating in my stash.
