This was made as a baby shower gift for fabEWlous, from the Paranoid Thread Wanderers group. It the car seat-sized version!

Note: Cast on 70 stitches for Simply Soft Eco on size 8 needles. Met 13.5” requirements exactly.

Finished the pink part on Good Friday! Once the second half of my yarn arrives, I’ll be working on the edging. Yippee!

It took forever to find the appropriate bouncy yarn in the correct color to make the edging for this damn blanket. Eventually, I discovered the perfect thing, but even then, I made a mistake and knit it on a needle size that was just slightly too large. I should have knit it with size 8 needles, not 9. However, it still looks adorable and for my first baby blanket, I’m pretty proud of it. :D
