Yet another prototype, as further work on my Betty and Veronica Scarf continues. I really don’t know why I design patterns. Most of the designing is simply knitting and frogging, knitting and frogging. I knit something, realize I would like it knit better another way, and so I frog it and start all over again! Sigh.

The design here involves two ruched panels, not one. That means that in the middle I decreased and increased again.

Ok, this cast-on amount (160) is actually going to be the neckwarmer version of the scarf. Good to know. :)

Eep! I almost ran out of the Seabreeze colorway at the end! Luckily, I had all these little bits left over from where extra yarn had been used to tie the skein to itself before being dyed, so I was able to use up all of those little strands to finish the cast-off edge. Whew. I really really like this cowl. It is super soft and the perfect length. I’m going to add a button and then it will be fabulous. Yey!
