This was made as a baby shower gift for fabEWlous, from the Paranoid Thread Wanderers group. It the car seat-sized version!

I hate Caron Simply Soft Eco. Knitting this has been fricking torture. Knitting with the plain old Simply Soft, however, is much nicer.

The pattern is a little fiddly. I cannot get the cone to match the scoop size and the damn thing is knit improperly at times. I’m frogging it and trying again.

Ignored the instructions to knit rounds 1-6 of the pointed cone. Instead, I knit rounds 1 and 2, then skipped ahead to round 6, the increase round. I continued this until there were 12 stitches on each needle. Then I bound off very loosely (though I forgot to do one round of purls, which I should have completed for a more finished look).

Ta-da! One ginormous rattle toy.

P.S. - Next time I may use a fingering or sport weight yarn to make it a little smaller. It’s rather large for a wee baby’s hands.
