Deutsch im Stricktagebuch vom 1. März 2006

My niece wanted a poncho with a hood.
The hood was a special thing: I wanted the pattern to be knit all over the head without seaming.
The cape is 1.40 m in width and 0.65m in length.
I calculated the cable crossings: it was 4000 times, partwise 50 times per row.

The poncho was then dyed in my biggest pot of 6 l what is really not enough space for dyeing.

After dyeing the poncho was washed in the washer and didn’t lose any color.

The Poncho isn’t as dappled as it seems in the pictures and my niece is still wearing it.

Unfortunately I have no better pictures.
