Notes

It’s a traditional pattern for blankets and potholders joined in modular way.
Yarn is used double and afghan is worked until all colors in green and blue (solid and variegated) are used up.

The picture shows potholders my Great-Aunt made in the 50s, and they are still in use, really everlasting.

Traditionelles Topflappenmuster von außen zur Spitze gehäkelt, dann modular zusammengefügt. Die Spendengarne in passenden Farben werden aufgebraucht.
Das ToLa-Bild zeigt ein klassisches Paar, das meine Großtante in den 50-ern gehäkelt hat. Ich habe sie geerbt, und sie sind bei mir ständig in Gebrauch, praktisch unverwüstlich.
