I’m one of those learn by doing people. So lately what I’m working on is ‘for me’ mainly, for learning growth / shape / flow.

Experimenting with stacking and angling yo increases toward the interior instead of expanding along the edge =

Here it is with an alternating angles of every other Row single st center-line decreases (ssk k2tog) giving a 45 angle instead of 90.

Some issues with how it lays. Will rethink it.

I dragged this out again and am rethinking it. It had too much stockinette, so it rolled, and the centerline decreases made a dimensional bump at the center tip of each flame.

Instead I’m quartering it and butterfly/bookmatch mirroring it. with a V mitered center join.
